2011 GARDENVILLE ROAD RALLY!
Had a great time and a great turn out for the first Gardenville Fundraiser Road Rally. Hope you'll be able to join us next year.

GARDEN CLUB BAKE SALE AT MAXWELL'S 2011 AUTUMN FESTIVAL!
A great time and a wonderful turn out for the Garden Club Bake Sale at Maxwell's Art & Treasures 2011 Autimn Festival. Pumpkin Decorating, Face Painting, Arts and Crafts, Haunted Scrap Yard, Entertainment and much, much more!
A fun time was had by all!!

At our October meeting held at Maxwell's, our guest speaker was Virginia Froehlich. The topic was "Things that make you itch, make you twitch and just might kill you!"

Our 2011 Euchre Party Fundraiser at Maxwell's Art & Treasures was a wonderful success. Everyone had a great time and supported us very generously.

A meeting with the Garden City Observer took place on Tuesday April 20th. Look for our story about the Community Garden coming soon. Things are progressing very well.

Garden City Garden Club is pleased to announce
plans to co-sponsor a gardening partnership along with Maxwell’s Art & Treasures and the Plymouth/Westland Grange #389. We are in the planning stages and are in need of community volunteers and donations. The gardens will include vegetables, herbs, works of art and a places to relax and enjoy the tranquil beauty of the gardens. The location of the gardens will be
at Maxwell’s Art & Treasures
32416 Industrial Road Garden City, MI 48135.
Our vision for the gardens include providing fresh produce to local charitable venues, educating the community
in healthy organic gardening practices.
So, if you enjoy gardening or if you would like to
work on art projects for the gardens, please join us.
NAME OUR COMMUNITY GARDEN CONTEST!
We need a name for our garden, so please help us
and submit your Garden Name Entry to us @
