November Garden Club Meeting

We surprised Della with flowers and a beautiful Birthday Cake (made by Barb) to celebrate 80 years young!
We then enjoyed a Victorian Craft, making Pomanders. Lynda showed us how to make one out of tangerines and lemons with cloves.
Fun Evening!!

2010 Garden Club Tree Decorating
Garden Club members Linda N, Dottie, Cheryl G, Cheryl P and Paula R. decorated the Garden Club Christmas Tree in front of Garden City Hall. Good job girls!!

Congratulations to former Garden Club President Dottie V. for receiving a "Life Membership Award" by the Michigan Garden Club Inc. The event was held at the beautiful Gross Pointe War Memorial in Gross Pointe Farm , Mi.

Planting At The Commons

On May 22nd, we had our annual planting at the commons in downtown Garden City. Lot's of flowers!!

Hypertufa Flower Pot Class

On May 18th, our Garden Club participated in a Hypertufa class with our guest Pat Mann. Good times!!

Garden Club Speaker Joe Barson
At our April 20th meeting we had Joe Barson from Barson's Greenhouse come in and talk about what's new in gardening. He also brought new plants available for purchase. Thank you Joe, and congratulations on 30 years of being in business.
